On Friday, Jan. 25, we did a short writing exercise on Point of View: in your English notebook, write a description of your morning routine from the time you wake up until the time you arrive at school.  Tell this from your point of view. Next, tell the same story of your morning, but from the point of view of a parent, a sibling, a pet, your television set, your phone, the wall, etc. What are some of the differences in the story that result from a different point of view?

We then read the story "The Interlopers" on pages 189-193 in Big Purple.  Homework for Monday, January 28 is to respond to questions 1, 3,4,5,6,and 7 on page 195.  This should be done in your English notebook.
