Today we had SSR for 25 minutes and then we got into groups and shared the homework on "The Lady, or the Tiger" and each group also had to make a case, using 3 pieces of textual evidence, for whether or not the  youth opens to door to the lady or the tiger.  Then we listened to / read "The Scarlet Ibis" (pages 416-426) in Big Purple.

HOMEWORK DUE MONDAY, FEB. 25: answer all of the yellow-boxed questions and #1-11 on page 428.  ALSO: make sure to correct question #11.  It should read "Reread what the narrator says on page 419" (instead of page 347.)
