On Wednesday, I returned the Short Story tests and students made any corrections to them that were needed and we went over the answers.  Then I handed out a sheet explaining the topics and steps for the major culminating assignment for the Short Story Unit: the Literary Analysis essay.  We reviewed the choices for writing the essay and then students completed the first step on side one of this handout, which is to read the essay called "Fausto's Guilt" on page 259 in The WriteSource textbook and then answer the four questions about it that are on the handout (linked above.)

I will announce due dates for drafts of the essay next week.
